As a nation, it is not very often we find ourselves on the brink of disaster. This is one of those rare moments. One group claims we are facing the impending destruction of our planet. They say science has indisputably proven our carbon emissions are slowly heating up our world. They claim this crisis must be averted by imposing emission restrictions on American industry'. As individuals, we should contribute money to pay for our carbon sins. This group is pressuring our elected representatives to pass laws institutionalizing their solutions. Accompanied by our silence, they have convinced our leaders we desire the same.
This is one of those rare moments where we find ourselves, as a nation, on the brink of disaster. It is a very good time to break our silence.
