Dear Friend of Radio Liberty,
"A specter haunts the world - the specter of religious fanaticism. Against a backdrop of economic and social woes, theocratic ideologies have declared a cold war on the democracies."
Richard Labeviere, 1999
"When the tyrant has disposed of foreign enemies by conquest or treaty, and there is nothing to fear from them, then he is always stirring up some war or other, in order that the people may require a leader."
Plato: The Republic: 350 BC
"War is not, as is widely assumed, primarily an instrument of policy utilized by nations to extend or defend their expressed political values or their economic interests. On the contrary, it is itself the principal basis of organization on which all modern societies are constructed. The common proximate cause of war is the apparent interference of one nation with the aspirations of another. But at the root of all ostensible differences of national interest lie the dynamic requirements of the war system itself for periodic armed conflict."
Report From Iron Mountain: 1966
". . . as America becomes an increasingly multicultural society, it may find it more difficult to fashion a consensus on foreign policy issues, except in the circumstances of a truly massive and widely perceived direct external threat."
Zbigniew Brzezinski
When President Bush addressed the nation on September 20, he referred to the attack on the World Trade Center, and he said:
"All of this was brought on us in a single day . . . and night fell on a different world."
September 11, 2001, was a watershed event; our lives will never be the same again. National Guard units patrol airport terminals and our nation's Capitol, the Senate office building is closed because of the threat of anthrax, and barricades block streets leading to the White House. The FBI is detaining hundreds of suspects, the recently passed "Patriot Bill" (H.R. 3108) suspends important provisions of the Bill of Rights, the Office of Homeland Security has been established, and the The Model State Emergency Health Powers Act will soon become the law of the land. Most people accept what is happening because they've been told we must change our way of life and accept more government surveillance to preserve our liberty. Nothing could be further from the truth. The new measures are designed to restrict our freedom, undermine our Constitution, and usher in the New World Order.
Two days after the attack, Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld told reporters that the coming war:
". . . undoubtedly will prove to be a lot more like a cold war than a hot war. If you think about it, in the cold war it took 50 years, plus or minus."
The following day, at a meeting convened by the Council on Foreign Relations in Washington, D.C., former Senator Gary Hart proclaimed:
"There is a chance for the President of the United States to use this disaster . . . to carry out what his father - a phrase his father used I think only once, and it hasn't been used since - and that is a new world order."
Four days after the attack, during his weekly radio address, President Bush stated:
"You will be asked for your patience; for, the conflict will not be short. You will be asked for resolve; for, the conflict will not be easy. You will be asked for your strength, because the course to victory may be long."
During a television interview that week, Jean Chretien, the Prime Minister of Canada, warned the coming conflict may last "forever", and added:
"There was a great resolution passed by the United Nations last night that might bring about a new order in the world that would be better for all of us."
What did President Bush mean when he said, ". . . the course to victory may be long"? How did Donald Rumsfeld know we are entering a war that may last 50 years? Why did Prime Minister Chretien say the war may last "forever"? How did they know the length of the war immediately after the attack?
The United States Commission on National Security /21st Century was established in 1997, held its first business meeting in October 1998, and released its Phase 2 Report in April 2000. The document recommended creation of an Office of Homeland Security to coordinate government services during periods of civil unrest or terrorist attack. President Bush authorized formation of the Office of Homeland Security just 9 days after the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center buildings and the Pentagon. The "Patriot Bill" was enacted after 2 anthrax-contaminated letters were sent to U.S. Senators; the legislation contains many of the unconstitutional measures that members of Congress rejected after the bombing of the Murrah Building. Planning for The Model State Emergency Health Powers Act began a year before the terrorist attack. Almost all of the national security legislation enacted since September 11 was planned before the twin towers were destroyed.
To grasp the significance of what is taking place you must understand the Islamic terrorist movement. The Muslim Brotherhood was established in 1928 to unite the Muslim world, and create an Islamic empire; it never gained a large following. The current movement began in 1979 when the U.S. State Department forced the Shah of Iran to abdicate and replaced him with the Ayatollah Khomeini. He was a radical cleric who hated the United States, advocated strict adherence to Islamic law, and a worldwide Jihad. By bringing Khomeini to power, and offering covert support to the most radical elements of the mujaheddin six months before the Soviet Union invaded Afghanistan, the globalists laid the foundation for the Islamic terrorist movement that threatens the survival of Western civilization today.
The reign of terror that resulted began in 1981 when a group of radical Islamists murdered Egyptian President Anwar Sadat. Dr. Aiman al-Zawahiri planned the assassination, then flew to Switzerland where he lived in comfort for many years. The Egyptian government convicted him of murder in absentia, but Switzerland refused to extradite him. Why? In 1995 the U.S. State Department gave him a visa to come to the United States, travel throughout our country, recruit terrorists, raise money, and purchase satellite equipment. When al-Zawahiri left the United States, he joined Osama bin Laden's al Qaeda movement. Many experts believe he helped plan the attack on the World Trade Center.
Why did our State Department allow a convicted murderer to enter our country? Why did the Swiss government refuse to extradite him? Why do we support the enemies of freedom?
Steven Emerson has been studying Islamic terrorism for almost 20 years. His 1991 book, Terrorist, documented the fact that U.S. State Department officials (globalists) protected terrorist organizations, terrorist leaders, and terrorist nations during the 1980s. His video, Jihad in America, was shown once on PBS in 1994; then someone in a position of authority convinced the Networks that the documentary should not be aired again. As a result, the video was suppressed until after the 9/11/01 attack. Why? Because it exposed the involvement of Islamic extremists in the bombing of the World Trade Center in 1993, and their plan to attack the infrastructure of our nation.
In his video, Steven Emerson states:
"I've reported on international terrorism for the past ten years. And since the World Trade Center bombing, I have been investigating the networks of islamic extremists commited to Jihad in America. For these militants, Jihad is a holy war, an armed struggle to defeat non- believers or infidels. And their ultimate goal is to establish an Islamic empire. . . . Hoping to halt the spread of Communism, the United States actively backed the Mujahideen, Afghanistan's Islamic rebels, dedicated to spreading Jihad. The CIA channeled almost three billion dollars to the Mujahideen through the intelligence service of neighboring Pakistan. . ."
". . . Pakistan was funneling more and more of the CIA's money to the most radical Afghan Muslims. In the end, they would contribute to the expansion of Jihad around the world."
Abdullah Azam led the new movement until he was assassinated in 1989. When he spoke at the Islamic training center in Oklahoma City in 1988, he said:
"O, brothers, after Afghanistan, nothing in the world is impossible for us anymore. There are no super powers or mini-powers - what matters is the will power that springs from our religious belief."
Later, when he spoke at the Islamic conference in Brooklyn, he "instructed his audience to wage Jihad wherever they were. Even in America." Then he added:
"The Jihad, the fighting, is obligatory on you wherever you can perform it. And just as when you are in America you must fast - unless you are ill or on a voyage - so, too, must you wage Jihad. The word Jihad means fighting only, fighting with the sword.
A year after Abdullah Azam was assassinated, his cousin, Fayiz Azam, spoke at a meeting in Atlanta, Georgia:
"Allah's religion - be he praised - must offer skulls, must offer martyrs. Blood must flow. There must be widows, there must be orphans. Hands and limbs must be cut, and the limbs and blood must be spread everywhere in order that Allah's religion stand on its feet."
The Islamists set up:
". . . an elaborate support and recruiting network coast to coast with branches in more than 88 American cities. Their centers became clearing houses and recruiting offices to support Jihad around the world."
They also established 8 training camps where Islamists were trained in the use of weapons, and making explosive devices. The globalists suppressed Steven Emerson's video to keep the American people from learning of the threat. Some high-ranking FBI officials knew what was happening, but refused to intervene. Instead of telling the American people about the Islamic threat, the FBI warned the public to be wary of militia organizations, and Christians who believe the Lord is coming again. Why?
The most important terrorist attacks are listed below; the page references can be found in Robert Labeviere's book, Dollars for Terror: The United States and Islam.
1983: Two hundred and forty-one marines were killed when their barracks was bombed in Beirut, Lebanon. (p.18)
1993: Six Americans were killed, over a thousand were injured in the February 26 Islamic attack on the World Trade Center. Using a similar explosive device, one hundred civilians were killed when suspected Islamic terrorists blew up the Jewish Cultural Center in Buenos Aires, Argentina. (Jihad in America transcript, p. 8)
1995: One hundred sixty-eight Americans were killed, several hundred were injured in the April 15 bombing of the Murrah Building in Oklahoma City. (A Study of Revenge by Laurie Mylroie) Seven people were killed in the November 13 attack on the American base in Saudi Arabia; five of them were Americans. (p. 224) The Egyptian embassy in Islamabad was destroyed on November 19. (p. 67)
1996: Nineteen Americans were killed, 346 Americans and Saudis were injured on June 26 when the American barracks in Dahran, Saudi Arabia was bombed. (The Khobar Towers). (p. 224-5) Islamic terrorists tried to assassinate President Hosni Mubarak in Addis Ababa. (p. 66)
1997: Sixty-two tourists were slaughtered in a temple at Luxor on November 17. (p. 14, p. 125)
1998: Two hundred and sixty-three people were killed, over 5500 people were wounded in the terrorist bombing of the American Embassy in Nairobi, Kenya on August 7. (p. 18) Ten people were killed, over a hundred people were injured during the terrorist attack on the American Embassy in Dar es Salaam on August 7. (p. 18) 2000: Seventeen Americans were killed, dozens were wounded, in the terrorist attack on the USS Cole.
The globalists control our State Department and our intelligence agencies; they knew Osama bin Laden was involved in the attacks on our overseas facilities, yet they blocked efforts to apprehend him. Last month I cited several instances when bin Laden could have been apprehended. On November 23, 2001, The Wall Street Journal reported our drone reconnaissance planes (predators) allowed U.S. officials to watch Osama bin Laden's movements a year before the 9/11/01 attack. They knew where he was, but didn't try to apprehend him. Instead, they grounded the predators, and didn't allow them to fly again until after the 9/11/01 attack. Why?
The World Future Society's logo is a circle made up of three 6's, i.e. "666"; their magazine, The Futurist, is read by many of the people who rule the world. An article in the Nov/December 1994 issue of The Futurist states:
"The next 15 years will be an age of "superterrorism," according to forecasters Marvin Cetron and Owen Davies. The terrorists of the future will have access to weapons of mass destruction and show a new willingness to use them. An improvised nuclear, biological, or chemical attack by 1999 is increasingly likely. . . ."
David Rockefeller selected Zbigniew Brzezinski to organize the Trilateral Commission; the Trilateral Commission's logo consists of three overlapping 6's, i.e. "666." In his 1997 book, The Grand Design, Zbigniew Brzezinski writes:
"It is also noteworthy that international conflicts and acts of terrorism have so far been remarkably devoid of any use of the weapons of mass destruction. How long that self-restraint may hold is inherently unpredictable, but the increasing availability, not only to states but also to organized groups, of the means to inflict massive casualties - by the use of nuclear or bacteriological weapons - also inevitably increases the probability of their employment. . . . Moreover, as America becomes an increasingly multicultural society, it may find it more difficult to fashion a consensus on foreign policy issues, except in the circumstances of a truly massive and widely perceived direct external threat."
Most Americans "perceive" we face a "direct external threat." Did the globalists allow the 9/11/01 attack "to fashion a consensus on foreign policy issues."? Remember Plato's warning:
"When the tyrant has disposed of foreign enemies by conquest or treaty, and there is nothing to fear from them, then he is always stirring up some war or other, in order that the people may require a leader."
The Report From Iron Mountain offers a similar assessment:
"War is not, as is widely assumed, primarily an instrument of policy utilized by nations to extend or defend their expressed political values or their economic interests. On the contrary, it is itself the principal basis of organization on which all modern societies are constructed. The common proximate cause of war is the apparent interference of one nation with the aspirations of another. But at the root of all ostensible differences of national interest lie the dynamic requirements of the war system itself for periodic armed conflict."
Did the globalists anticipate the terrorist attack? Congress authorized The United States Commission on National Security/21st Century in 1997. The Commission was co-chaired by former Senators Gary Hart and Warren Rudman; it held its first business meeting in October 1998, and released its Phase 1 Report on September 15, 1999. Pages 1 and 2 state:
"Notable among these new threats is the prospect of an attack on U.S. cities by independent or state-supported terrorists using weapons of mass destruction. . . . The upshot of the changes ahead is that Americans are now, and increasingly will become, less secure than they believe themselves to be . . . we may not recognize many of the threats in our future. . . . They may consist instead of unannounced attacks by subnational groups using genetically engineered pathogens against American cities."
Page 18 notes:
"International borders will become more porous. . . . States will find it increasingly difficult to prevent the flow of ideas, economic goods, and danger into their territories. . . . It will no longer require a major investment in scientific and industrial infrastructure for small states and even reasonably well-heeled groups and individuals, whether they be criminal syndicates or terrorists, to get their hands on very dangerous technologies."
Why can't we keep al Qaeda terrorists from entering our country? Human Events reports that between late October and December 1, 2001, two months after the 9/11/01 attack:
". . . the State Department granted nonimmigrant U.S. visas to at least 7,000 men from countries in which al Qaeda is active. In fiscal 2000, an astounding 493,473 temporary (or non- immigrant) U.S. visas were issued to nationals from the watch list (terrorist-ed) countries."
Page 20 discusses the threat of biologic warfare:
"This technology, for example, will allow for the creation of ever deadlier and harder to detect weapons of potentially genocidal dimensions. . . ."
The Phase 1 Report concludes with the warning:
"America will become increasingly vulnerable to hostile attack on our homeland, and our military superiority will not entirely protect us. . . . States, terrorists, and other disaffected groups will acquire weapons of mass destruction and mass disruption, and some will use them. Americans will likely die on American soil, possibly in large numbers. . . . Foreign crises will be replete with atrocities and the deliberate terrorizing of civilian populations.
Gary Hart co-chaired the Commission. When he spoke at the Yale Center for International and Area Studies on December 6, 1999, he predicted:
". . . the U.S. would be attacked on its own soil mostly by a small group of foreign terrorists, and that the attack could result in the loss of many American lives."
When he addressed the CFR meeting held in Washington, D.C. 3 days after the attack, he stated:
"There is a chance for the President of the United States to use this disaster . . . to carry out what his father - a phrase his father used I think only once, and it hasn't been used since - and that is a new world order."
Will the globalists "use this disaster" to establish the New World Order? Did they know the attack was coming? Kenneth Timmerman's recent Insight magazine article suggests they did. He wrote:
"A former Iranian-government intelligence officer who has defected to the West tells Insight during telephone interviews from Germany that he personally informed the FBI at the beginning of September of a plot by Iran to crash civilian jumbo jets into the World Trade Center and government buildings in Washington. A key element of the plot . . . was the use of Arab "muscle men" to hijack the airliners. . . . The former intelligence officer says he received a coded message from inside Iran one week before the Sept. 11 attacks. . . . He says he contacted the German intelligence agency, the BND, and the legal attache at the U.S. Embassy in Berlin. U.S. government officials tell Insight that the FBI now claims it didn't receive the defector's warning until after Sept. 11."
Next month I will address the funding of al Qaeda, Osama bin Laden, the Islamic terrorist movement, and Wahhabism, which I intended to cover this month.
Providing five hours of programs every weekday keeps me busy, but Radio Liberty is reaching new listeners every day. A friend provided the funds to get Radio Liberty broadcast on cable radio one hour a week. The program can be heard every Saturday at 3:00 p.m. in the Los Angeles basin, and as soon as other companies purchase the needed equipment, Radio Liberty will be heard via cable across America. Ask your local cable company to carry the program, and encourage your friends to listen to it.
Can we stop the globalists' crusade to establish a world government? I don't know, but we must stand against it. A wise man observed: "Brave people eventually die, but cowards never really live." His words remind me of Teddy Roosevelt's admonition:
"The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena . . . who strives valiantly, who knows the great enthusiasms, the great devotions, and spends himself in worthy causes. Who, at best, knows the triumph of high achievement and who, at worst, if he fails, fails while daring greatly so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who know neither victory nor defeat."
We are to do our best, and rely on the Lord.
Radio Liberty still goes behind every month. If you can help in any way, please do. As always, l appreciate your faithful support, and your prayers.
