Dear Friend of Radio Liberty,
"'The White House goal is to build a case that the Iranians have been fomenting the insurgency and they've been doing it all along - that Iran is, in fact, supporting the killing of Americans.'"I wanted to continue my discussion of the diabolic effort to suppress effective cancer treatments, but the deteriorating situation in the Middle East and the possible expansion of the war against the Moslem world must be addressed. Why is the Bush administration considering a pre-emptive attack on Iran when thousands of American soldiers are engaged in a no-win war in Afghanistan, and 160,000 U.S. soldiers are involved in a civil war in Iraq? If you try to explain the events that are unfolding throughout the world today from a rational point of view, they don't make sense. Is there another explanation?
Seymour Hersh, New Yorker, March 2007
"We have two nightmares. . . . For Iran to acquire the bomb and for the United States to attack Iran. I'd rather the Israelis bomb the Iranians, so we can blame them. If America does it, we will be blamed."
Vali Nasr, Former Saudi diplomat
"The Pentagon is continuing intensive planning for a possible bombing attack on Iran, a process that began last year, at the direction of the President. In recent months . . . a special planning group has been established in the offices of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, charged with creating a contingency bombing plan for Iran that can be implemented . . . within twenty-four hours."
Seymour Hersh
"Two carrier strike groups - the Eisenhower and the Stennis - are now in the Arabian Sea. One plan is for them to be relieved early in the spring, but there is worry within the military that they may be ordered to stay in the area after the new carriers arrive. . . ."
Seymour Hersh
"Tension in the Gulf region has raised fears that an attack on Iran is becoming increasingly likely before President George Bush leaves office. The Sunday Times has learnt that up to five generals and admirals are willing to resign rather than approve what they consider would be a reckless attack."
The Sunday Times, February 25, 2007
"He is now waiting to descend. This descent into our unhappy world of men can present Him with no alluring picture. From the quiet mountain retreat where He has waited, guided and watched over humanity, and where He has trained His disciples, initiates and the new group of world servers, He must come forth and take His place prominently on the world stage, and take His part in the great drama which is there being played. . . ." (italics added)
Alice Bailey, The Externalization of the Hierarchy
"Their script is now written, subject only to last-minute editing and stage-directions. The stage itself, albeit as yet in darkness, is almost ready. Down in the pit, the subterranean orchestra is already tuning up. The last-minute, walk-on parts are even now being filled. Most of the main actors, one suspects, have already taken up their roles. Soon it will be time for them to come on stage, ready for the curtain to rise. The time for action will have come."
The Armageddon Script, Peter Lemesurier, 1981
Why do I consider the conflict in Afghanistan a "no-win war?" Because Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and the CIA created the Taliban, and financed their consolidation of power. Have you ever wondered why the U.S. gave Afghanistan (the Taliban) $124.2 million in "humanitarian aid" in 2001 when the Taliban government was providing sanctuary for Osama bin Laden and his henchmen who were responsible for the bombing in Aden in 1992, the bombing of the World Trade Center and the Black Hawk Down incident in 1993, the bombing of the U.S. Embassies in Africa in 1998, and the attack on the U.S.S. Cole in 2000. Is that logical?
Seymour Hersh's March 2007 article in The New Yorker magazine is very important because he recorded an interview with a former high-ranking U.S. government consultant who told him:
"We are in a program to enhance the Sunni capability to resist Shiite influence, and we're spreading the money around as much as we can. . . . The problem was that such money 'always gets in more pockets than you think it will . . . we're financing a lot of bad guys with some serious potential unintended consequences.'"
The U.S. is also funding a number of Shiite organizations. Does that make sense? A former high-ranking Saudi official told Hersh:
"In the nineteen-eighties and the early nineties, the Saudi government offered to subsidize the covert American C.I.A. proxy war against the Soviet Union in Afghanistan. Hundreds of young Saudis were sent into the border areas of Pakistan, where they set up religious schools, training bases, and recruiting facilities. Then, as now, many of the operatives who were paid with Saudi money were Salafis. Among them, of course, were Osama bin Laden and his associates, who founded Al Qaeda, in 1988. . . .
(Prince) Bandar and other Saudis have assured the White House that 'they will keep a very close eye on the religious fundamentalists. Their message to us was 'We've created this movement, and we can control it.' It's not that we don't want the Salafis to throw bombs; it's who they throw them at - Hezbollah, Moqtada al-Sadr, Iran, and at the Syrians, if they continue to work with Hezbollah and Iran."
Radical Islam wasn't a threat to the United States 20 year ago. Where did the movement come from? M I 6 (British Intelligence), and later the CIA, financed the Moslem Brotherhood that created the radical movement. Why did the Western intelligence agencies encourage the resurgence of Islamic Jihad? Apologists claim they wanted to counter the Soviet effort to control the Middle East. Is that true, or was there another agenda?
Shortly after the U.S. attacked Afghanistan in October 2001, the Taliban army fled into Pakistan where they were trained and re-equipped by the ISI (the Pakistani intelligence agency) which is funded by the Pakistani government. A recent New York Times article by David Sanger states:
". . . the White House concluded that General Musharraf is failing to live up to commitments he made to Mr. Bush. . . . American intelligence officials have concluded that the terrorist infrastructure is being rebuilt, and that while Pakistan has attacked some camps, its overall effort has flagged."
Three days later The New York Times reported;
"The Taliban's former defense minister, Mullah Obeidullah . . . was arrested in Pakistan on Monday, the day of Vice President Dick Cheney's visit. . . . While the detention may be a sign of new commitment by Pakistan to move against the Taliban leadership, it also seems to confirm Western and Afghan intelligence that the Taliban is indeed using Pakistan . . . to organize their insurgency against American and NATO force, something Pakistani officials have strenuously denied."
The U.S. has been fighting the Taliban for 5 1/2 years. The Taliban army is funded and equipped by the ISI, the ISI is funded by the Pakistani government, and the Pakistani government is funded by the U.S. We are witnessing a replay of the tragic events that took place during the Vietnam era when U.S. and European banks funded the Soviet Union, the Soviet Union funded the North Vietnamese, the North Vietnamese funded the Viet Cong, and the Viet Cong killed 58,000 American soldiers in South Vietnam. It's like deja vu all over again.
A similar situation exists in Iraq today. Have you ever wondered why Saddam Hussein wasn't sent to Europe and tried by the World Criminal Court? The Bush administration couldn't let that happen because Saddam Hussein:
(1) Was a member of the CIA assassination team that tried to assassinate General Abd al-karim Qasim in 1959.
(2) Was financed by the CIA after the assassination attempt failed.
(3) Was allowed to purchase U.S. military, chemical, and biological weapons.
(4) Was given billions of dollars in credit, and lent $5 billion (or more) during the Iraq-Iran war.
(5) Received U.S. support after he gassed 50,000 -100,000 Kurds in 1988.
(6) Was given permission to invade Kuwait (by the U.S. Ambassador).
(7) Was helped (by the U.S. military) to use poison gas on the Iranian army.
(8) Was given permission to use his helicopter gunships to kill tens of thousands of Kurds and Shiites who revolted after President H.W. Bush told the Iraqis the U.S. would invade Iraq.
(9) Was encouraged (by the U.S.) to invade Iran in 1980.
(10) The U.S. kept Saddam in power during the 1990s.
There are several other important questions:
Who is responsible for the 2 million people (500,000 children) who perished during the U.S. embargo of Iraq between 1991 and 1995?
Why didn't U.S. officials accept Saddam Hussein's offer to go into exile, and Iraq's offer to surrender before the U.S. attack?
Why didn't the U.S. send adequate troops?
Why did Paul Bremer (CFR) disband the Iraqi army, the Iraqi police force, the Iraqi Civil Service, close the government factories, and plunge Iraq into chaos?
Why did the U.S. tolerate the private Shiite armies?
Why did the U.S. let Shiite death squads kill thousands of Sunnis, and Sunni death squads kill thousands of Shiites?
Who funds the Sunni insurgency and al Qaeda?
The current situation in Iraq is untenable. 1.8 million people have left the country, 3 thousand more leave every day, 1.6 million people are displaced (homeless), and a recent University of Maryland poll (September 2006) reveals that 74% of the Shiite population and 91% of the Sunni population of Iraq want the U.S. to leave, and 62% of the Shiite population and 92% of the Sunni population believe the insurgent attacks on U.S. forces are justified. The only group that want the U.S. to remain in Iraq are the Kurds, and they are trying to expel the Arabs and the Turkmen who live in Kirkuk.
There are five bloody struggles in Iraq today:
The Badr Brigade, and several other private Shiite armies, are fighting the Mahdi army for control of the Southern provinces.
U.S. and Iraqi forces are fighting Sunni and al Qaeda insurgents.
Some Sunni warlords are fighting Sunni insurgents and al Queda. There are only 1,300 - 2,000 al Qaeda insurgents in Iraq.
Shiite death squads are killing Sunnis, and Sunni death squads are killing Shiites.
The Kurds are trying to expel the Arabs and the Turkmen who live in Kirkuk.
In addition, the Bush administration is trying to topple the Syrian government by financing the Syrian National Salvation Front that is aligned with the Moslem Brotherhood that supports al Qaeda.
"There is evidence that the Administration's redirection strategy has already benefitted the Brotherhood. The Syrian National Salvation Front is a coalition of opposition groups whose principal members are a faction led by Abdul Halim Khaddam, a former Syrian Vice-President who defected in 2005, and the Brotherhood. A former high-ranking C.I.A. officer told me, 'The Americans have provided both political and financial support. The Saudis are taking the lead with financial support, but there is American involvement.' He said that Khaddam, who now lives in Paris, was getting money from Saudi Arabia, with the knowledge of the White House. . . . A former White House official told me that the Saudis had provided members of the Front with travel documents."
Seymour Hersh believes the Bush administration is trying to find an excuse to attack Iran:
"The White House goal is to build a case that the Iranians have been fomenting the insurgency and they've been doing it all along - that Iran is, in fact, supporting the killing of Americans."
Vali Nasr, the former Saudi diplomat, told Seymour Hersh:
"We have two nightmares. . . . For Iran to acquire the bomb and for the United States to attack Iran. I'd rather the Israelis bomb the Iranians, so we can blame them. If America does it, we will be blamed."
And a former intelligence officer told Hersh:
"The Pentagon is continuing intensive planning for a possible bombing attack on Iran, a process that began last year, at the direction of the President. In recent months, the former intelligence officer told me, a special planning group has been established in the offices of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, charged with creating a contingency bombing plan for Iran that can be implemented, upon orders from the President, within twenty-four hours."
Elsewhere Hersh learned:
"Two carrier strike groups - the Eisenhower and the Stennis - are now in the Arabian Sea. One plan is for them to be relieved early in the spring, but there is worry within the military that they may be ordered to stay in the area after the new carriers arrive. . . . (Among other concerns, war games have shown that the carriers could be vulnerable to swarming tactics involving large numbers of small boats, a technique that the Iranians have practiced in the past; carriers have limited maneuverability in the narrow Strait of Hormuz, off Iran's southern coast)."
Many U.S. military leaders are concerned about the disastrous consequences of a pre-emptive strike on Iran. The Sunday Times reports:
"Tension in the Gulf region has raised fears that an attack on Iran is becoming increasingly likely before President Bush leaves office. The Sunday Times has learnt that up to five generals and admirals are willing to resign rather than approve what they consider would be a reckless attack."
The plan to attack Iran is progressing:
- Several fighter plane squadrons have been stationed in Turkey to facilitate the attack. - Tanker planes have been stationed in Turkey to refuel the long-range bombers that will be used.
- Six hundred Patriot missiles have been sent to Iraq to defend U.S. troops from an Iranian missile attack.
- In addition to the two Carrier Strike Groups stationed in the Persian Gulf, the Boxer Expeditionary Strike Group which contains eight naval ships, and the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, is stationed there.
Some people claim the Bush administration is trying to frighten the Iranian government and force them to discontinue their effort to build nuclear weapons. I hope and pray that is the case, but I fear our leaders, and the leaders in Teheran, are energized by a "dark, spiritual force" that wants to engulf the world in war. Why hasn't the U.S. tried to negotiate an agreement with Iran? Why hasn't Iran tried to negotiate an agreement with the U.S.? Why has President Ahmadinejad made inflammatory statements about Israel, hosted a meeting that promoted the concept that the Holocaust didn't take place, and negotiated agreements with our enemies?
If you try to understand the events that are taking place from a logical point of view, they don't make sense, but if you view them from the spiritual perspective, they do. I believe the U.S. is controlled by a dark, spiritual force. Why? Because President George H.W. Bush quoted the writings of Alice Bailey on several occasions, and Alice Bailey was a Luciferian who believed the major faiths of today represent "the forces of darkness" and must be replaced by "newer faiths." Alice Bailey wrote:
"There are certain areas of evil in the world today through which these forces of darkness can reach humanity. . . . Judaism is old, obsolete and separative and has no true message for the spiritually-minded which cannot be better given by the newer faiths; the Moslem faith has served its purpose and all true Moslems await the coming of the Imam Mahdi who will lead them to light and to spiritual victory; the Christian faith also has served its purpose; its Founder seeks to bring a new Gospel and a new message that will enlighten all men everywhere."
Who is "its Founder?" Alice Bailey's book, The Externalization of the Hierarchy (1957), reveals his identity:
"He is now waiting to descend. This descent into our unhappy world of men can present Him with no alluring picture. From the quiet mountain retreat where He has waited, guided and watched over humanity, and where He has trained His disciples, initiates and the new group of world servers. He must come forth and take His place prominently on the world stage, and take His part in the great drama which is there being played." (italics added)
He is Antichrist!
Peter Lemesurier, author of The Armageddon Script, explains what lies ahead:
"The massed forces of the Old Age . . . will be unable to check their headlong onrush. In large measure they will go on to destroy each other in a massive, mutual venting of long pent-up aggression. . . .
Their script is now written, subject only to last-minute editing and stage-directions.
Is this the time that Ezekiel foresaw, and described in his writings? I don't know what lies ahead, but I am certain the United States is headed for destruction. What can you and I do? We must prepare for the difficult times that lie ahead.
Prepare financially because most people will lose their possessions. I suggest you read G. Edward Griffin's book, The Creature From Jekyll Island, Professor Antony Sutton's book, The Federal Reserve Conspiracy, Arthur Dickinson White's book, Fiat Money Inflation in France, the Radio Liberty pamphlet, The History of Money, and the Radio Liberty syllabus Financial Tsunami. Prepare materially because most products won't be available. Igor Shafhid's book, Inside the Red Zone, contains a list of the items needed if there is a chemical, nuclear, or biologic attack. If you want a radiation meter or a NukeAlert, contact Radio Liberty.
James Talmadge Steven's book, Making the Best of Basics, is an instruction manual on how to survive in an emergency situation. You should have a supply of vitamins, minerals, antibiotics, food, and water on hand. Radio Liberty offers free catalogs. You must prepare spiritually. Study the scriptures, read (or reread) Corrie ten Boom's book, The Hiding Place. My wife, dealing with these issues on a daily basis, has gained great strength and encouragement from Corrie's book. Consider also, Don Piper's book, 90 Minutes in Heaven. It reveals that God does involve Himself in the lives of His people. All the above books are available from Radio Liberty.
I close this letter with the last three stanzas of Joaquin Miller's poem, Columbus, because we face a similar seemingly hopeless situation today:
They sailed, they sailed, then spake the mate:
'This mad sea shows his teeth to-night;
He curls his lips, he lies in wait,
With lifted teeth, as if to bite:
Brave Adm'r'l, say but one good word;
What shall we do when hope is gone?'
The words leapt like a leaping sword:
'Sail on! sail on! sail on! and on!'
Then, pale and worn, he kept his deck,
And peered through darkness. Ah, that night
Of all dark nights! And then a speck ---
A light! a light ! a light! a light!
It grew, a starlit flag unfurled!
It grew to be Time's burst of dawn.
He gained a world; he gave that world
Its grandest lesson: 'On! sail on!'"
We must follow the same course because there is no retreat and no place to hide. Our job is to sound the warning. God will determine the outcome of our work, and who heeds our clarion call.
Barbara and I appreciate your generous support and your faithful prayers.
Yours in Christ,
