Dear Friend of Radio Liberty:

"It is simply not feasible for sovereignty to be exercised unilaterally by individual nation-states, however powerful."
Maurice Strong [1]

"We shall have world government, whether or not we like it. The question is only whether world government will be achieved by consent or by conquest."
James Warburg [2]

"These considerations prove that a scientific world society cannot be stable unless there is a world government."
Bertrand Russell [3]

"Why should we not form a secret society with but one object, the furtherance of the British Empire for the bringing of the whole uncivilized world under British rule. . . ."
Cecil John Rhodes [4]

On September 6, 2000, the United Nations will convene The Millennium Assembly in New York City. It will be the most important gathering held in North America since our Forefathers signed the Declaration of Independence 224 years ago. The document that was signed in Philadelphia on July 4, 1776, established a Christian nation, proclaimed that freedom comes from God, and offered hope to people throughout the world. The document that the United Nations plans to submit to the Millennium Assembly will outlaw war, undermine the belief that freedom comes from God, destroy hope, and bring everyone in the world under the control of the UN. The document is called The Charter for Global Democracy. Government leaders from 160 nations will attend the Millennium Assembly, and all of the Delegates to the UN General Assembly will be there. It will be the largest gathering of world leaders ever held, yet our controlled media fails to mention it. The Charter for Global Democracy will be presented as a restructuring of the United Nations, and if it is accepted, the UN will cease to be a debating society and will become a sovereign entity. [5] At that point it will become the organization Cecil John Rhodes envisioned in his first will when he wrote of:

". . . the foundation of so great a power to hereafter render wars impossible. . . ."

Who is behind the effort to establish a global government? The Charter for Global Democracy was produced by The Commission on Global Governance which was formed by Willy Brandt, the former President of the Socialist International. Thus the concepts contained in the Charter originated with the Socialist International. How can you verify that?

In 1995 The Commission on Global Governance published a book entitled Our Global Neighborhood. On page 359 we read:

The Commission on Global Governance was established in 1992 in the belief that international developments had created a unique opportunity for strengthening global co-operation to meet the challenge of securing peace, achieving sustainable development, and universalizing democracy. The first steps leading to its formation were taken by former West German Chancellor Willy Brandt. . . . By September 1992, the Commission was established with twenty-eight members from around the world. . . . [6]

The objective of the Commission was to strengthen "global cooperation to meet the challenge of securing peace, achieving sustainable development, and universalizing democracy." How do they intend to secure peace? By creating a world government. What do they mean when they refer to "sustainable development"? The United Nations will control all natural resources and human activity. What do they mean when they refer to "universalizing democracy"? Karl Marx praised democracy, and communists and socialists throughout the world use the term to describe a society where everything is controlled by the State, and people are allowed to vote, but their votes make no difference because all political parties are controlled by the rulers. [7]

Among the members of The Commission on Global Governance were Maurice Strong, a Canadian billionaire, socialists from many nations, and communists from both Russia and China. [8] Why would a Canadian capitalist work with socialists and communists to create a world government? Because that is the goal of many capitalists, all socialists, and the leaders of world communism. They seek to establish a new social order, the Novus Ordo Seclorum described on the back of the dollar bill. That has been the plan since the dawn of civilization, and unless we awaken the American people, or God intervenes, we will soon have a totalitarian world government. [9]

Earlier I quoted statements made by two prominent capitalists, Maurice Strong and James Warburg. Maurice Strong wrote:

"It is simply not feasible for sovereignty to be exercised unilaterally by individual nation-states, however powerful." [10]

When James Warburg testified before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee in 1950, he said:

"We shall have world government, whether or not we like it. The question is only whether world government will be achieved by consent or by conquest." [11]

The Charter For Global Democracy offers a plan to restructure the United Nations. It calls for the following changes in the UN Charter:

1. All International Agencies are to be placed under the control of the United Nations.

2. Membership in the Security Council will be expanded, and the United States will no longer be a permanent member of the Council.

3. Members of the Security Council will no longer be able to veto UN decisions.

4. The Tobin tax, and other forms of global taxation, will be introduced. The Tobin Tax involves the international transfer of funds, and will provide the UN with $1.5 trillion a year. That will allow the United Nations to function without support from member nations. Additional forms of taxation may include:

5. The United Nations will have an army to enforce its decrees.

6. The International Criminal Court (ICC) will be established, and everyone will be subject to the dictates of both The World Court, and the ICC.

7. An Assembly of the People will be formed and become an important advisory body in the United Nations. It will be made up of nongovernmental organizations (NGO) selected by UN officials. Since most NGOs are financed by those of great wealth, the Assembly will represent those who provide the funding for NGOs, not the people of the world. [12]

Most of the information I have presented can be found on Henry Lamb's Web Page, www.freedom.org. Please access this site, and tell others about it.

One of the best sources of information on the plan to establish a world government is Professor Carroll Quigley's book, Tragedy and Hope: A History of The World In Our Time. Those who read this letter regularly know that Professor Quigley's book was suppressed. Why? Because it revealed the fact that Cecil John Rhodes created a secret society to take over control of the world. [13]

Cecil Rhodes wrote his first will in 1877. There he discussed his intention to unite the world under British rule and recover the United States. He sought:

The extension of British rule throughout the world, the perfecting of a system of emigration from the United Kingdom and of colonization by British subjects of all lands wherein the means of livelihood are attainable by energy . . . the ultimate recovery of the United States of America as an integral part of the British Empire . . . and finally the foundation of so great a power as to hereafter render wars impossible and promote the best interest of humanity. [14]

Cecil Rhodes' Confession of Faith was attached to each of his first five wills. There he wrote:

The idea gleaming and dancing before ones eyes like a will-o-the-wisp at last frames itself into a plan. Why should we not form a secret society with but one object, the furtherance of the British Empire for the bringing of the whole uncivilized world under British rule for the recovery of the United States, for the making of the Anglo-Saxon race but one Empire. [15]

In Tragedy and Hope, Professor Quigley revealed that Cecil Rhodes formed a secret society. In his book, The Anglo-American Establishment, Professor Quigley wrote:

The Rhodes Scholarships, established by the terms of Cecil Rhodes's seventh will, are known to everyone. What is not so widely known is that Rhodes in five previous wills left his fortune to form a secret society, which was to devote itself to the preservation and expansion of the British Empire. And what does not seem to be know to anyone is that this secret society was created by Rhodes and his principal trustee, Lord Milner, and continues to exist to this day. . . . This society has been known at various times as Milner's Kindergarten, as the Round Table Group, as the Rhodes crowd, as The Times crowd, as the All Souls group, and as the Cliveden set. [16]

Cecil Rhodes realized that if his plan was to succeed, he and his followers must absorb the wealth of the world. William T. Stead was expelled from the secret society and subsequently wrote about it in an article entitled "Cecil John Rhodes" in The American Monthly Review of Reviews . There he reproduced a letter from Rhodes:

Please remember the key of my idea discussed with you is a Society, copied from the Jesuits as to organization. . . . I find I am human and should like to be living after my death; still, perhaps, if that (my-ed) . . . name is coupled with the object of England everywhere, and united, the name may convey the discovery of an idea which ultimately led to the cessation of all wars and one language throughout the world, the patent being the gradual absorption of wealth and human minds of the higher order to the object. . . . The only thing feasible to carry this idea out is a secret one (society) gradually absorbing the wealth of the world to be devoted to such an object. . . . Fancy the charm to young America, just coming on and dissatisfied . . . to share in a scheme to take the government of the whole world. [17]

Why is Cecil Rhodes' secret society important today? Because the movement he created was the primary force behind the tragic events of the last century and everything that is happening today. Professor Quigley tells us:

Money for the widely ramified activities of this organization came originally from the associates and followers of Cecil Rhodes. . . . Since 1925 there have been substantial contributions from wealthy individuals and from foundations and firms associated with the international banking fraternity, especially the Carnegie United Kingdom Trust, and other organizations associated with J. P. Morgan, the Rockefeller and Whitney families, and the associates of Lazard Brothers and of Morgan, Grenfell, and Company. [18]

Earlier Professor Quigley mentioned that Lord Rothschild helped finance Cecil Rhodes. [19] Here we learn that the Carnegie Trust, the Rockefellers, J.P. Morgan, and the international banking fraternity backed Rhodes' movement. Between them they represent the wealth of the world, and that is why the organization Cecil Rhodes created is important today.

Rhodes' followers organized the Round Table Group, and according to Professor Quigley, the Round Table Group organized the Council on Foreign Relations which took over the State Department during World War II. [20] Following the war State Department officials ceded Eastern Europe and China to the communists, and many Americans believed there must be communists in our government. Professor Quigley ridiculed that idea, but noted:

This myth, like all fables, does in fact have a modicum of truth. There does exist, and has existed for a generation, an international Anglophile network which operates, to some extent, in the way the Radical Right believes the Communists act. In fact, this network, which we may identify as the Round Table Groups, has no aversion to cooperating with the Communists, or any other groups, and frequently does so. I know of the operations of this network because I have studied it for twenty years and was permitted for two years, in the early 1960's, to examine its papers and secret records. [21]

Professor Quigley revealed that an "international Anglophile network" brought communism to China. He called it "the Anglo-American Establishment," and admitted that it was responsible for our disastrous foreign policy and the advance of communism. Referring to Jerome D. Green of the Institute of Pacific Relations, Professor Quigley wrote:

He is also a symbol of the relationship between the financial circles of London and those of the eastern United States which reflects one of the most powerful influences in twentieth-century American and world history. The two ends of this English-speaking axis have sometimes been called . . . the English and American Establishments. There is, however, a considerable degree of truth behind the joke, a truth which reflects a very real power structure. It is this power structure which the Radical Right in the United States has been attacking for years in the belief that they are attacking the Communists. . . . These misdirected attacks by the Radical Right did much to confuse the American people. . . . The American people . . . (were-ed) thoroughly bewildered at widespread charges of twenty years of treason and subversion. [22]

Why did the Anglo-American establishment bring communism to China? It was a social experiment. David Rockefeller has led the American branch of the Establishment for over 40 years. When he returned from China in 1973, the New York Times published his observations. By then Chairman Mao and his henchmen had slaughtered somewhere between 40 and 80 million Chinese, yet David Rockefeller wrote:

One is impressed immediately by the sense of national harmony . . . there is a very real and pervasive dedication to Chairman Mao and Maoist principles. Whatever the price of the Chinese Revolution, it has obviously succeeded not only in producing more efficient and dedicated administration, but also in fostering high morale and community purpose. General social and economic progress is no less impressive . . . The enormous social advances of China have benefitted greatly from the singleness of ideology and purpose. . . . The social experiment in China under Chairman Mao's leadership is one of the most important and successful in history. [23]

To David Rockefeller and his followers the oppression of the Chinese people represented a social experiment, "one of the most important and successful in history."

Those who embrace Cecil Rhodes' vision are largely unconcerned about human suffering. Bertrand Russell wrote about the importance of establishing a world government, and overpopulation, in his book, The Impact of Science on Society.

I do not pretend that birth control is the only way in which population can be kept from increasing. There are others. . . . War, as I remarked a moment ago, has hitherto been disappointing in this respect, but perhaps bacteriological war many prove more effective. If a Black Death could be spread throughout the world once in every generation survivors could procreate freely without making the world too full. . . . The state of affairs might be somewhat unpleasant, but what of that? Really high-minded people are indifferent to happiness, especially other people's. . . . These considerations prove that a scientific world society cannot be stable unless there is a world government. [24]

Cecil Rhodes wanted a world government, and that is the goal of the members of The Commission on Global Governance, of the socialists, the communists, the international financiers, and many corporate executives. Are they members of a secret society? No, but they are all promoting Cecil Rhodes' objective, and many of them are energized by the same spiritual forces that energized Cecil John Rhodes.

There is a conspiracy against God, and that conspiracy has existed since the beginning of time. You can read about it in Jeremiah 11, verse 9, in Ezekiel 22, verse 25, and in Psalm 2. There have been conspiracies down through the ages, yet anyone who dares mention that fact is immediately attacked and vilified by the agents of the Anglo-American Establishment. [25]

The powerful men who have absorbed the wealth of the world are conspiring against God. They plan to disarm the people of the world and bring everyone and everything under their control. What are we to do? We are to put on the full armor of God, stand against the forces of darkness, proclaim the truth, and trust in the Lord.

What can you do? Copy and distribute this newsletter along with copies of Reverend Millen's audio-tape we have titled The Devil's Heartbeat which describes what happened after we turned China over to the communists. Lend the tape, ask people for their thoughts, and insist on getting the tape back. We still offer 10 copies of The Devil's Heartbeat for $13.95. Let me encourage you to distribute them. If someone wants more information, lend them Reverend Millen's second tape, Brainwashing. If people want to know what to do, form a study group, show videos, and discuss the problems we face. If you are interested in starting a study group, write for suggestions.

We must go on the offensive. Congressman Ron Paul has introduced legislation to withdraw the United States from the UN, and 56 Congressmen support his Bill. We must make the United Nations a major issue, and any legislator who supports it should be defeated. Check the Liberty Study Committee's Web site, www.libertystudy.org, and get on their fax list by calling 703-241-1003.

We are encouraging people to start a movement to impeach Supreme Court Judges who support murdering viable infants and oppose the Ten Commandments. I'll discuss that matter next month. For now, disseminate this newsletter and other information on the Millennium Assembly.

I have an opportunity to go on the Heritage Radio Network. It's a national program which is pulled down by stations across America. If I accept the offer it means I will be on the radio another hour every day, but the program will reach thousands of new listeners. I will accept the offer if I can raise $6,000 to pay for the radio time. If you can help, please let me know.

More people are listening to our programs, and other ministries are beginning to discuss the spiritual component of our struggle. The enemies of freedom are trying to discourage us because they realize their plans are becoming increasingly apparent, and they hope to neutralize us with fear. Now is the time to dedicate yourself to the struggle, to support those on the front lines of the battle, to convince your minister that he has a responsibility to speak out, and to stand for righteousness. The United States will determine the fate of the world, and we can help determine what happens in the United States. Keep up the good work, and remember to keep your eyes firmly fixed on the Lord.

Thank you for your continued support for Radio Liberty.

Yours in Christ,

Stanley Monteith, M.D.
