October, 1998

Dear Friend of Radio Liberty:

I awoke on the morning of November 4 with a heavy heart. It was clear that American voters had repudiated the lofty ideals advocated by the Republican Party. It was not until I took time to reflect on the results of the election and the significance of the recent meeting of the California Republican Party that I was able to put the events of the November election into perspective. After the initial shock wore off I came to the conclusion that perhaps the recent Republican defeat was the best thing that could possibly have happened.

Republican leaders claim that they favor cutting taxes, restraining big government, balancing the budget, providing a strong defense for America, and traditional family values. Is that really the case?

On September 26, delegates to the California Republican Party Convention traveled to Long Beach to attend their State Convention. Although the vast majority of CRP members are conservative, the majority was not allowed to either discuss the issues, or have their views heard. Committees were stacked with moderates and liberals; someone put up almost $5,000 to purchase "phantom" CRP memberships for people who were obviously not going to attend the Convention so there could be no quorum; when it came time to discuss important issues, Liberal members walked out, someone called for a quorum count, and there being none, the Convention was promptly adjourned. Once again, the Liberal wing of the California Republican Party succeeded in using parliamentary procedures to thwart open discussion of the major issues facing our nation. Similar techniques are used regularly all across our nation to prevent conservatives from having an influence on the National Republican Party.

One of the greatest tragedies of modern times is that most people don't understand how our political system really works; they honestly believe that we have a two-party system in which one political party is dedicated to socialism, the other to the preservation of individual liberty. Nothing could be further from the truth, and we must address that issue while there is still time to restore the Christian foundation of our once great nation.

Republicans claim that they have balanced the Federal budget by cutting back on big government, and that there was a $70 billion budget surplus in 1998. In truth, however, most of the spending cuts have come from cutting back on America's military forces, and the purported $70 billion surplus represented money paid into the Social Security Trust Fund by workers who have been promised that their contributions would be invested for their retirement. Instead, the money has regularly been spent to pay for Federal expenditures, and secured with government IOUs which can neither be sold nor redeemed. Stealing from the Social Security Trust Fund is the means by which both political parties have funded our massive government deficits through the years without the knowledge or consent of the American public. The $70 billion Republican surplus actually reflects the fact that the government spent only $130 billion of the $200 billion that the Social Security System received in excess of what it paid out. All of the $200 billion should have been deposited in the Trust Fund and wisely invested for future payment to retirees, but instead all but $70 billion was spent to finance current government expenses. The leaders of the Republican Party insisted that the surplus should have been used to finance a tax cut while President Clinton stated that it should have been used to fund future Social Security payments. In actuality, Bill Clinton was correct.

Tragically, the leaders of the Republican Party have increased the size and scope of the Federal government during this past four years, while claiming that they have reduced its size. It has all been rhetoric. Most people recognize that the Republicans have failed to keep their promises and have embraced big government along with their Democrat counterparts.

We have been told that the Republican Party has cut back on federal spending, yet our government spent far more in 1998 than it did in 1994. We are told that the Republicans phased out farm subsidies, yet on the last day of the past Congressional session the House and Senate passed a $520 billion Omnibus Appropriations Bill that increased Federal spending for education, gave $7 billion in new farm subsidies, gave $18 billion to the IMF, and funded thousands of other new and old government programs effectively destroying "the balanced budget agreement" made with President Clinton. That appropriations bill was not available to members of Congress until just a few hours before the vote was taken. To my knowledge not one single legislator had the opportunity to read and analyze it before they were required to vote on it. Only a few legislators of integrity from both parties refused to vote on the bill because they did not have the opportunity to read it before they voted. They were belittled by the Speaker, and the majority went ahead and voted on the bill without having read it. Do you really believe that the National Republican Party is dedicated to cutting back on big government?

To understand what is really going on in the United States you must first learn the history of our current political system. Professor Carroll Quigley was President Clinton's mentor when young Bill Clinton attended Georgetown Univeristy in the mid-1960s. Professor Quigley was a liberal historian. He had taught at both Harvard and Princeton before going to Georgetown University, and he was privy to the secret plans of the American Financial Elite. He believed that every nation should have a ruling aristocracy, and he sympathized with the Financial Elite's goals.

Discussing the influence that J.P. Morgan and Rockefeller interests have had on our government during the nineteenth century, Professor Quigley wrote:

"When the business interests ... pushed through the first installment of civil service reform in 1883, they expected that they would be able to control both political parties equally. Indeed, some of them intended to contribute to both and to allow an alternation of the two parties in public office in order to conceal their own influence, inhibit any exhibition of independence of politicians, and allow the electorate to believe that they were exercising their own free choice." (1)

Here Professor Quigley reveals that the J.P. Morgan and Rockefeller interests took over control of both political parties a century ago, then allowed first one party, then the other party to hold the reins of power for a time in order to convince the American people that they had some say in determining the policies of our government. Professor Quigley went on to note that:

"The business interests discovered that they could control the Republican Party to a large degree but could not be nearly so confident of controlling the Democratic Party." (2)

Professor Quigley then revealed:

"To Morgan all political parties were simply organizations to be used, and the firm always was careful to keep a foot in all camps. Morgan himself ... and other partners were allied with Republicans; Russell C. Leffingwell was allied with the Democrats; Grayson Murphy was allied with the extreme Right; and Thomas W. Lamont was allied with the Left." (3)

Professor Quigley exposed the fact that both the socialist and communist movements here in the United States have been financed by the Morgans, the Rockefellers, and similar financial interests for many years. Commenting on the fact that many uninformed members of the Radical Right mistakenly believe that communists working in government during the 1950s posed a threat to our national security, he pointed out that it was not the communists but rather the power structure of the Financial Elite that was manipulating our foreign and domestic policies. He wrote:

"There is, however, a considerable degree of truth behind the joke, a truth which reflects a very real power structure. It is this power structure which the Radical Right in the United States has been attacking for years in the belief that they are attacking the Communists. ... These misdirected attacks by the Radical Right did much to confuse the American people ...." (emphasis added) (4)

In other words, it is the power structure of the Financial Elite that has been moving our nation toward socialism and internationalism, not the communists working within our government. The presence of the radicals distracted the American public from recognizing the power of the Financial Elite. Where do the millions of dollars for the financing of political campaigns come from? Certainly not from small donations made by the average voter.

Professor Quigley went on to discuss the American two-party system:

"Hopefully, the elements of choice and freedom may survive for the ordinary individual in that he may be free to make a choice between two opposing political groups (even if these groups have little policy choice within the parameters of policy established by the experts) and he may have the choice to switch his economic support from one large unit to another. But, in general, his freedom and choice will be controlled within very narrow alternatives by the fact that he will be numbered from birth and followed, as a number, through his educational training, his required military or other public service, his tax contributions, his health and medical requirements, and his final retirement and death benefits." (emphasis added) (5)

Professor Quigley then explained the real reason for our two-party system, and how it has been used to deceive the American public.

"The chief problem of American political life ... has been how to make the two Congressional parties more national and international. The argument that the two parties should represent opposed ideals and policies, one, perhaps, of the Right and the other of the Left, is a foolish idea acceptable only to doctrinaire and academic thinkers. Instead, the two parties should be almost identical, so that the American people can "throw the rascals out" at any election without leading to any profound or extensive shifts in policy." (6)

What is the true purpose of this charade? As mentioned in our last letter, the ultimate goal of the Financial Elite is to use the monetary and military power of America to force all nations into a New World Order, a New World Financial System, and a New Spirituality. Indeed, their intent is to establish the Novus Ordo Seclorum inscribed beneath the occultic pyramid printed on the back of the American dollar bill. More disturbing is the realization that the force behind this diabolic scheme is Luciferian, and that we are engaged in a struggle between good and evil, between God and Satan. That struggle is coming to fruition within the next several years, and is described in Scripture, for truly there is "spiritual wickedness in high places". (7)

Now is the time to work with determination and all our energy to reach the Christians and Christian leaders of America. It is our job to educate them as to the true nature of the spiritual battle in which we are currently engaged, and to convince them that they have an obligation to be involved. Now also is the time for prayer, for without God's help we will never succeed in our venture. If we are successful we will be able to return the United States to its Christian heritage. If we fail, our nation and our freedom will be lost forever.

During this past month we have acquired several potent new resources. Thomas Horn's excellent book Spiritual Warfare:The Invisible Invasion is available from Radio Liberty for $11.95 plus $2.50 shipping (and tax where applicable). I have never before come across a book that states the nature of our struggle more clearly or concisely. We hope to have a teaching guide that can be used along with that book in the near future. My interview with Thomas Horn is a Tape-of-the-Month selection for October. In addition, we had an excellent interview with David Carrico in early November covering the significance of the occult markings on the front and back sides of the American dollar bill. With the knowledge available from that tape you will be able to convince others of the occultic nature of the forces working in Washington, D.C., and hopefully lead them to an understanding of the true nature of our enemy.

Of course, Y2K still looms in the future. We had a fascinating interview with Steve Gregg, founder of the Great Commission School, an intensive Bible study school in Orgeon. Steve did a great deal of study on Y2K after receiving some unsolicited information in the mail. He subsequently wrote "Does the Year 2000 Problem Present Dangers for Your Family?" from a well-balanced and Christian point of view. The tape and report would be excellent resources for someone just becoming aware of the Y2K problem.

Our two-hour interview with Dr. Judith Reisman, author of Kinsey:Crimes and Consequences revealed the subversive agendas of both Alfred Kinsey and the Rockefeller Foundation. The most intriguing part of our discussion was Dr. Reisman's revelation that there was a definite connection between Alfred Kinsey and Aleister Crowley, the British spiritualist who renamed himself The Beast 666. Thus we can see a direct connection between the moral destruction of our nation and the occult.

We have two new videos available, Bill Clinton's Rise to Power, and Impeach Clinton? Is it Justified?

What can you do? Please tell others to listen to Radio Liberty. If our programs cannot be heard in your area, encourage people to listen to us on the Internet, or on Web TV where Radio Liberty can be heard three hours every day, five days a week at www.radioliberty.com. Encourage them to become part of our army of informed Christians who care about the future of our nation and are dedicated to exposing the occult nature of the enemy. Copy and distribute a dozen or more copies of every newsletter, especially this month's and last month's letters.

Do not despair. The battle is the Lord's. If David could challenge the giant Goliath with a slingshot, how much better equipped are we today with the availability of the Internet, books, videos, and tape sets? What should we do politically? We may ultimately have to leave the Republican Party and form or join a new party. It is obvious that we are not going to be allowed to influence the policies of the National Republican Party which says one thing and does another. Only time will tell, but we cannot continue allowing the Financial Elite to continue exploiting their control of our two-party system. I will cover that issue in much greater detail in a subsequent letter.

Keep your eyes focused on the Lord and on his word, and may God continue to bless and protect you.

Yours in Christ,

Stanley Monteith, M.D.
